I disagree with the opening point about the kick ball. That was a good call. Having played and know this sport and other sports very well... I not only can call upon my experiences but also what I can see... that ball went off his shin AND then his fingers. Barely. Watch again. His hand is stretched out, fingers straight... the ball goes rocketing forward after impact in a direct line with how his leg was moving. His shin hit it. Also look at the velocity off contact... if his fingers can make a basketball rocket that hard, that fast forwards... he has fingers like stone. It was a shin ball. The call was legit. However, all that said, clear bias existed because just a second earlier, the block grabbed his arm and tried to hold him back so there was a foul on them that was never called. I do agree that refs.. they are not up to calibre and there is some shit going down. I believe just weeks ago that the ref's were told to let more go... its not more like street ball. Is that a good thing? I'm not sure. Time will tell. Also... the rest of the video is bang on the money accurate.

They need BOS v. NYC in the East. Refs have completely bastardized the illegal screen rule for the past decade. It's almost useless until they decide it exists one 1 or 2 plays every game. That was it for me watching NBA ball. It's really gross.

I think, by rule, Turner's moving screen should have been called. But if that one should be called, then Divo's much more obvious one should've been called even more. We see much worse examples constantly, for a couple decades, and no whistle. Moving screens have been totally legal for years and years now, not by rule but by refs discretion. So really Turner's shouldn't have been called.

The players really need to speak up about this......we the fans have little impact, but if the player's association decides to do something, then the league would certainly hear them out. I strongly disagree with refereeing in the cluthch moments. They should make the exact same calls than in the first minute of the game. If you have to recur to dirty or underhanded play in the las couple of minutes to win, then you don't deserve the win at all

Marc Davis didn't give Malone a tech because he knew it was a charge on KAT and he's a veteran referee. He knew if he T'd up Malone for that he would be less likely to get more playoff games in the next rounds because the NBA reviews shit like that and won't give certain crews games as the playoffs go on (which is less bonus money for the refs). Davis knew he was wrong on the charge call and rightly kept his cool to keep his pockets up. If you want to argue anything about game 2 bad refs its gotta be the amount of physicality they let Minnesota get away with but called Denver for repeatedly. Mostly because once Davis was mad about Malone he kinda just went "hold my beer" and called Denver for everything and let Minnesota get away with a bit more. Once Tony Brothers (a notorious Jokic hater) was crew chief in game 3 and the game was called much more fairly (even tho there were a few super soft calls both ways) we saw what happened. But this is why fans get so mad the consistency between crews is lacking - ANT got the T in game one cause that crew wanted no nonsense, Malone didn't get the T in game two but the wolves got away with a lot of physicality after that, in game 3 I'd say it was mostly fairly called. We'll see how it goes but for the most part I'd say the refs really aren't THAT bad.
